Meet Our Staff

Scott Hinchcliff

Scott Hinchcliff is the owner here at Scott’s Automotive. Scott has been in the business for 27 years, first gaining experience as a Ford Diesel technician and then moving into his own repair business in 2007. His experience and attention to detail is unmatched in our area and he works hard to maintain his ongoing trainings and certifications to be the best in the business.



Scott grew up in McMinnville and lives just outside of town. Scott is married to his partner in crime of almost 23 years, Elizabeth. They have 2 kids and 2 very spoiled Doodles. His hobbies include anything old with an engine. His passion is all things hotrod; he always has projects in progress at home including his 1938 Ford pickup, 1966 Ford and a couple of Honda Trail Bikes.

Chuck Housworth

Chuck Housworth is a service consultant here at Scott’s Automotive. Chuck brings experience and knowledge to his position with over 30 years in the automotive repair industry. He has seen every side of the business, first as an ASE Certified Technician and now as our top-notch service writer. He helps keep the shop moving smoothly, keeps customers informed on repairs, and gives our technicians the support they need to get your car serviced and back to you.


Chuck lives outside of Sheridan with his wife of 34 years Lynn. Together they have one daughter, Katie, 2 dogs, 4 cats, and 7 goats. When Chuck isn’t taking care of his property and animals he spends time on his favorite hobby, old cars. Chuck is a Mopar man; he owns a 1972 Dart, 1972 Demon and a 2018 Challenger.

Devon Morley

Devon Morley is a Service Consultant and Parts Coordinator at Scott’s Automotive. He helps with keeping our customers informed and keeps track of our incoming parts, keeping us organized and running smoothly.  Devon has been in the automotive repair business for 12 years.


Devon lives here in McMinnville with his wife Hannah, 3 year old daughter Riley and dog Otto, They are expecting their second child Finn in March of 2022! When he’s not remodeling his home he enjoys family cruises in his 1963 Fairlane Wagon, days on the river with his jetboat and working on anything old. Devon’s dream car is a 1936 Ford 3 window Coupe.

Paul Smark

Paul has 30+ years in the automotive repair industry and has spent the majority of those here in McMinnville – many of you already know Paul and his reputation for quality work. Paul is a GM World Class Technician who has specialized in GM, Buick and Cadillac repair and maintenance for over 20 years. We are excited to bring his knowledge and experience to our customers.

 

Paul lives here in McMinnville with his wife Jennifer and 3 kids; Mason, Bryce and Eliza. Paul’s family stays busy with their favorite hobby, go kart racing. When he’s not at the track with his kids, Paul enjoys classic cars and collecting Lionel trains. His favorite classic is a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro.​

Seth Parsons

Seth Parsons is a technician here at Scott’s Automotive. Seth has been with us for 6 years and has become an invaluable part of our team. He completed the Automotive Technician Program at Chemeketa Community College.  We love his positive attitude and his willingness to learn.


Seth grew up in the area and lives here in McMinnville. Seth recently got engaged to his fiancé Bailee, together they have a cat. He enjoys hunting, fishing, mountain biking and being outdoors. Seth has a passion for all cars, but his current favorite is the 1970 Gran Torino.

Douglas Dunckel

Doug Dunckel comes to us with over 20 years of experience as an automotive technician. He completed his training at Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. He continued his career as a Toyota technician, where he became a Master certified Toyota Technician and an ASE Master certified Technician.


Doug was born and raised right here in McMinnville, only leaving for the time he spent in Phoenix. He is married to his wife Kim, of 18 years. Together they have 3 very active children, Sophia, Cecilia, and Aaron, along with two dogs and three cats. In his off time, Doug enjoys mountain biking, exploring the outdoors and spending time at the coast with his family. Doug’s favorite cars are an oval window Volkswagen Bug & a Toyota FJ Cruiser.
